Oasis Attacked at V-Fest

In case you didn't know, some dude attacked Oasis during the song 'Whats the Story, Morning Glory' at the Virgin Festival tonight. After a five minute delay, Oasis came back on and finished a short set (ended around 10:35) without an encore (or live forever or champagne supernova).

Anyways, whoever it was, thank you for ruining a perfectly fine concert. I am sure all the people who paid 85$ for the tickets appreciate it.

it looked as though he was on his way to Liam.

Oasis always take a risk playing in Canada. They never have good luck here. They kind of did this to themselves though years ago.

Not why did he do it, but why give him (I haven't watched the video and am presuming the attacker is male) what he wants — noteriety, publicity — by linking to a video of the attack?

That's actually what surprised me most about the incident, not that Noel got attacked but that they actually stayed and continued playing. Has Oasis actually grown up???
