The TTC is about to implement some service changes. And good news! They're mostly improvements! Steve Munro has all the deets.
Major shifts:
- The Bloor--Danforth subway will now run more frequently on weekdays during the midday and early evening periods.
- The routes serving York University and Humber Lakeshore all see service improvements during peak hours.
- The 36 Finch West is gaining a whole whack of busses at all hours.
- Several route running times have been extended in response to traffic patterns, road construction, etc. (In some cases, busses have been added to fill the gap--but not every route will see relief, so check the chart.)
These changes go into effect on March 25th.

Headway
Headway is the theoretical distance, in time, between vehicles on the route. If the route takes 20 minutes to run, and has two buses assigned to it, then--in theory--every stop along the route should see one bus every 10 minutes, which is a 10-minute headway. If only one bus served the 20-minute route, you would have a 20-minute headway; if four buses served it, you would have a 5-minute headway; etc.
Vehicles
"Add" is the vehicles being added to the route.
"Remove" is the vehicles being removed from the route.
What, seriously? Do I have to dress you in the mornings, too? Gosh.
